Hey, im a first poster, and I have a bit of a problem. The first time I used XBMC, I went to My Applications>Games and there were a bunch of games installed on to the hardrive I presume (note: I didn't play them yet). I think I might have done something wrong because I restarted my Xbox (when I pressed "A" when selecting a game, it would disappear, didn't know that :sniffle: ) and when I came back to the games part, all the files were gone and I have no idea how to get them back. Does anyone have a solution to this? Help is appreciated :)It may be that whoever installed XBMC for you did not install a fresh copy and just ftp the XBMC folder from their xbox to yours. All the game icons from their hard drive are stored in cache but the games are not on your hard drive look for them in the file explorer F:games G:gamesSorry im really new to this and im not sure what is what. I went to My Files, and checked folders F and G, they came up empty. This probably means they are not installed? I checked my Xbox memory and it has a couple of games and programs installed (example: Sid 4) but i don't know how to get to them :from the home screen in the pm3 skin click on filemanagerok thanks, il check it out :)If you cant find a folder named games. the games are most likely not there. just the icons are still cached from before.ok thanks for your help :)sorry, I don't mean to double post but I forgot to add something:
I didn't press on all the games, so they didn't all disappear. But im not sure how or why this happened.i think i may have an older version, since i can't find filemanager :SIm stuck playing emulated games from 1973 :p I hope someone can poit me into the right direction so i can solve this problem.Ok, i found the File Explorer, and there seems to be no memory in either folders D or F, i checked all other folders and its just gibberish to me and i haven't found any of the files that I needed to find.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
