I used this (http://www.productwiki.com/microsoft-xbox/article/how-to-go-from-xbox-to-xbox-media-center-in-30-minutes.html) Guide to try to set up xbmc on my xbox, but I'm having troubles at the part where I am instructed to replace the EvolutionX dashboard with the XBMC dashboard. It says I'm supposed to overwrite all the files in the dashboard folder with XBMC files; however, this did not work. After I replaced the dashboard and rebooted my xbox, I get a screen with an evolutionX logo in the background and only two options: 1. Launch disc 2. Network settings.
After looking around on the internet I'm seeing some conflicting instructions. Some say that I should place the entire XBMC folder into the Apps folder on my xbox. Then I'm supposed to use Team XBMC's shortcut tool to install the dashboard.
Can somone please explain which one of these instructions is correct?
This is the build i'm trying to install: XBMC-2.0.1-FINAL-FAT-T3CH.rar
....but after the extremely long time it took to transfer onto my xbox I'll probably use this build: XBMC-2.0.1-FINAL-SLIM-T3CH.rar, but only if I have to do the transfer all over again.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
