Any reviews from the BigSoccer faithful would be appreciated too.
That review was done way before Konami announced that the game will be available to the North American market next year around March. It will be called World Soccer Winning Eleven 6 International. Quite a mouthful. http://www.konami.com/winningeleven6/#
This is only for PS2. So the rest of us are SOL? Someone said Gamecube, is that wrong? If it's on PS2 and GC, I can't see why they wouldn't do Xbox too.
I'd love to see it on either PC or Xbox, so I'm trying to figure out Konami's plans so I can determine whether or not to get my hopes up. :)
This seems to be one of the most comprehensive reviews I've seen on Winning Eleven. Only a few more months of playing FIFA. :)

Except for the last paragraph, where it said it wasn't available in North America and wouldn't run on an American-model PS2.
And after all that nice build-up, too. :(

The lack of real kits and team license by Konami might hurt it but the gameplay make up for it. Dedicated WE/PES fans have created a number of patches to make up for the lack of license.

Serie A,B,and C patch to be released. http://www.freeforumzone.com/viewmessaggi.aspx?f=4567&idd=3172
but how do you download the kits to your PS2?
thank you.
PES3 may well come out on the Xbox, if it's not obsolete by then.
