We live by Pearson airport - just 2 of us. Last year we went to the Royal York Hotel. It was lovely but we can't afford that this year.
Really I would just like to fly home and be with my family, but we can't afford that either! Please help! The Old Mill at Bloor just east of Jane has a lovely Christmas dinner buffet however it might be a little pricey for what you are looking for. Check out their site and find out what they charge. If you want a really nice festive feeling Christmas dinner out that is the place to go in my opinion.Theres a laid back restaurant that is pretty affordable at the Skydome(rogers center now blah). It looks into the feild. If you go while theres a game you get to watch the game for free. ANY CHINESE RESTAURANT THERE ALWAYS OPEN!Hi,
I'm in the same boat as you. Last year we went to the Old Scott House. It seemed to be very popular, as we went to the early seating.
Lots of hussle and bussle, it was nice, food was good.
It's at 520 Progess Avenue 296-2222
Good luck and Merry Christmas
update 12:50pm : I just found out they sold out to Baton Rouge...too bad it was nice there. You should try the Old Spaghetti Factory, very delicious. I am a former chef and worked with many chefs who were in the Airport Strip hotels, as I was a hotel chef myself, try any of those along the Airport Strip, even a trip to Brampton and place like Wong's it is a Chinese buffet, and some of the Indian restaurants, alot has to do with what you want and traditional dinner would be the realm of the hotels or Tuckers or other main stream restaurants.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
