Im wondering if vB has a function that allows an admin or mod to post announcements across a selectable range of forums at once?
We use the forums for server alerts and would like to post issues affecting various servers all at once rather than doing it one at a time
is there such a function?
and if there is does this fucntion also allow you to post replys across multiple topics at once?Hello,
Right now it is possible to make a global announcement that appears in all forums, and an announcement on a per forum basis.
No, there's no option to post multiple replies at once to existing threads.You browse into a category's forum, or it's sub-forum... and click on a thread or start a new thread. Either way you're IN that particular forum and that is where the post appears. Just like this post is written to link to this thread, which resides in the pre-sales forum. It won't appear on other forums.Does a global post go to all forums or can you specify which forum group or specifi forums the post goes into?#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
