Hi all, I just bought the Rigid 84001 18V cordless drill from HD for $99 on clearance after returning the 14.4 volt for which I paid the same amount a year ago. My parents' ISP is blocking windows file sharing (port 139?). But they need to access files remotely. I am looking for some free software that will make "My documents" at home mirror "My documents" at the office (which has its own IP). I constructed a light box by taking a large cardboard box and cutting out holes in each side, covering them with muslin fabric, placing white posterboard inside bent at an arch for a seamless background, and used two clamp-on lights bought at Wal-Mart with 150 Watt "Reveal" bulbs. Hey, im a first poster, and I have a bit of a problem. The first time I used XBMC, I went to My Applications>Games and there were a bunch of games installed on to the hardrive I presume (note: I didn't play them yet). I have a Trimble Pathfinder XL Pro Differential GPS unit. In NEMA mode, this unit will update the current position at up to 1HZ. I need to get position data updates at least 5 times per second wihtout loosing decimeter precision. I am hoping there is either a way to (1) set the unit to output updates at faster than 1HZ, or (2) a way to request the current the position from the unit in a way where I could send 5 requests per second. I need to cut a 51 degree bevel in a piece of MDF with my ts2400LS. Hi all, I just bought the Rigid 84001 18V cordless drill from HD for $99 on clearance after returning the 14.4 volt for which I paid the same amount a year ago. My question is, is there anything better you would recommend at the same price? It seems hard to top 18 volts, 460 pounds of torque for $99. Curious if you guys think this is a good tool. My parents' ISP is blocking windows file sharing (port 139?). But they need to access files remotely. I am looking for some free software that will make "My documents" at home mirror "My documents" at the office (which has its own IP). I constructed a light box by taking a large cardboard box and cutting out holes in each side, covering them with muslin fabric, placing white posterboard inside bent at an arch for a seamless background, and used two clamp-on lights bought at Wal-Mart with 150 Watt "Reveal" bulbs. So my B-Day is coming soon, and I figured I was going to buy a lens for myself because I have been nice all year. Anyways, after quite a bit of research I have lowered down my options to three fixed focal lenses: Sigma 15 mm f2.8 diagonal fisheye. Pentax DA 21mm f3.2 limited. Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro. Hey, im a first poster, and I have a bit of a problem. The first time I used XBMC, I went to My Applications>Games and there were a bunch of games installed on to the hardrive I presume (note: I didn't play them yet). I need to get position data updates at least 5 times per second wihtout loosing decimeter precision. I am hoping there is either a way to (1) set the unit to output updates at faster than 1HZ, or (2) a way to request the current the position from the unit in a way where I could send 5 requests per second. I need to cut a 51 degree bevel in a piece of MDF with my ts2400LS. Anyone know of any jigs or tips on cutting 45 degree + bevels?Use a couple of tapered shims under the piece that you're cutting...Yesterday I cut the equivalent of a 76 deg bevel (1/4 x 1 taper) on a 13" wide by 60" long table top, on my ts2400. I used a tall auxiliary fence to support the piece on its edge. It worked out quite well. I did use my regular finger board, plus a second control stick bearing on the workpiece above and a bit past the center of the blade. This second control stick was simply setting on top of a short piece of 4 x 4 all clamped to the saw's top. The auxiliary fence is 6" or 8" tall, which gave pretty good support to the 13" width.
